What's New for the 2019 Ford Ranger?
The 2019 Ford Ranger comes straight out of the assembly line as a new addition to Ford's truck series, specifically for the Ranger model lineup. The Ford Ranger is a midsize pickup truck that has similar qualities to earlier pickup truck models, and at the same time is all-new for the year. It contains newer options such as a new turbocharged engine and an 8-inch touchscreen. Speaking of the engine, it is built for direct injection and runs on regular unleaded fuel, carrying up to eighteen gallons of it. The engine also runs on a four-wheel drive and has a 10-speed shiftable automatic transmission to back it up and even contains automatic locking hubs for the wheels and gears when not in motion.
The new Ford Ranger adds in some special features for comfort, interior settings and decorations and a lot of safety upgrades to guarantee both the safety and satisfaction of its owners and occupants. Being a pickup truck, the Ranger can seat five people inside and has the option of seats decorated in either leather or premium cloth. There are a few interior options available for the truck, starting with tray-style floor liners and keyless entry pads, but the more advanced trim levels add in a Ford Pass Connect function. The entertainment system has regular and satellite radio access and six audio speakers inside, but also includes some heated mirrors and a one-touch power window. Other interior features include keyless ignition, climate control, and a universal remote transmitter for the garage door and security system. Safety is not a small matter here, and the Ranger includes some new safety features like a lane-keep assist for when the car changes lane without the turn signal and front and rear parking sensors to warn drivers of anything in the front and rear of the truck. Other standard safety features include improved traction and stability control, with emergency braking assist and preparation. There are LED headlamps on the interior with an auto delay function and dusk-sensing capabilities that adjust during any time of day. Lastly, a remote anti-theft alarm system is in place to fend off any criminals or vagrants who get too close.
