What's New for the 2020 Ford EcoSport?
The Ford EcoSport is a car that's full of personality and fun to drive. While its striking exterior and unique design might catch your eye at first glance, you'll find that there is, even more to enjoy in the EcoSport on the inside. Even though it's on the smaller end of the spectrum for SUVs, the EcoSport has a tremendous amount of space for a vehicle in its class. The EcoSport has a generous volume for both cargo and people, with a roomy interior and over 50 cubic feet of storage space in the trunk. In 2020, the EcoSport added some additional amenities, including a standard eight-inch display and a standard WiFi hotspot.
Although they have some slightly different features this year, there are still four trim levels for the Ford EcoSport in the 2021 lineup. The base trim level is called the S. With this trim comes a nice array of amenities and plenty of style. Automatic headlights are standard, and the exterior is adorned with 16-inch wheels. The interior now features standard WiFi and a larger infotainment display screen. Along with those amenities, the cabin also includes a six-speaker audio system and two USB charging ports. The front seats are also height-adjustable. The back seats fold flat even at the base level. Standard safety technology includes a backup camera, cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring.
The next trim in the lineup is the SE. With it comes more amenities. Parking sensors are added on the safety front. The interior adds a sunroof, keyless entry, and satellite radio. This year's technology upgrades include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with the second trim and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The exterior is distinguished with roof rails, fog lights, LED daytime running lights, and body-colored accents. Heated front seats are standard, and you can opt for a safety package that adds on more driver-assist safety aids, including rear cross-traffic alert. Ambient interior lighting is offered through a package.
With the SES, the third trim, the EcoSport upgrades to 17-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. The interior gets leather seats and a heated steering wheel. A rear spoiler adds a splash of style, and the trim gets its own more powerful engine.
Topping the line is the Titanium with heated mirrors, chrome accents across the exterior, and premium leather seats. More safety technology is standard, and the Titanium has a Bang & Olufsen sound system. HD radio is also added.
