The 2022 F-150 Lightning raises the bar in the truck market with electrifying results. This is Ford’s first all-electric truck, and it offers drivers plenty to be excited about. The powerful motor system in the F-150 Lightning can tow up to 10,000 pounds and take you 320 miles down the road on a fully-charged battery. With ample torque from its large battery, this truck can reach 60 miles per hour in four seconds. With one-pedal driving, a superior braking system, and an independent rear suspension, the F-150 Lighting will undoubtedly live up to your high expectations for performance.
On the exterior, the 2022 F-150 Lightning is a striking vision. It has the same commanding presence as the gas-powered F-150 truck with specialized design elements. For example, the expansive grille’s sides are capped on the nose by tall headlights. This unit's left, right and upper perimeters are wrapped in a thick LED light bar. The exterior is also outfitted with a 120-volt power outlet in the truck bed. Other exterior features could include a two-panel sunroof, a powered rear window, cargo bed lighting, power-folding side mirrors, a power tailgate, and up to 22-inch wheels.
