2021 Ford F-150 vs 2021 RAM 1500

Serving Wellington, OH

If you are debating between buying the Ford F-150 and the RAM 1500, you are in good company. For 2021, these full-size trucks are both loaded with exciting features. They are also available with several powertrains at different trim levels. This seemingly makes it easier to find a truck with the full capabilities and power you need. However, narrowing down the scope of your focus to a single brand requires your full attention.

Exterior

The 2021 Ford F-150 combines its classic good looks with modern touches from front to rear. This model continues to command the road with its prominent height and smooth hood. The slightly rounded nose is encompassed by Ford’s extended grille and a refreshed design for the headlights. The 2021 RAM 1500, on the other hand, has a flared look through the hood. Each model has a slightly different facade on the front end, thanks to different grille and headlight designs.

Interior

The interior of the Ford F-150 has been completely redesigned in 2021. It now has a 12-inch infotainment system screen, SYNC 4 technology, recline-flat front seats, a 12-inch productivity screen mated with instrumentation features, a heated steering wheel, a lockable storage area under the rear row, and more. The 2021 RAM 1500’s interior may come with a UConnect 12-inch screen, a heated steering wheel, storage areas, an auto climate control system, and many other features throughout the trim line.

Performance

The Ford F-150 is a real beast on the road, and its performance will not disappoint you regardless of which of the powertrains you select. A few of the options are a V6 EcoBoost, a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel Power Stroke, and a 3.5-liter PowerBoost hybrid engine. The 2021 RAM 1500 is also offered with several engines. Some of these are a V6 EcoBoost and a V6 EcoDiesel.
