Serving Wellington, OH

When Wellington-area drivers are in the market for a new truck, they often compare the full-size F-150 to the RAM 1500. While these models have been compared to each other for years, they differ significantly in their capabilities, design, and features. What will you discover when you compare the 2023 Ford F-150 to the 2023 RAM 1500?

Performance

With six powertrains available across the 2023 F-150's trims, there is one that meets your needs for power on the road. The entry-level powertrain is a 3.3-liter, V6, 290-horsepower system. The most powerful gas engine is a V8, supercharged 5.2-liter system that generates 700 horsepower. Some F-150 trims have a turbo 3.5-liter, V6 hybrid engine that produces 430 combined horsepower. The 2023 RAM 1500 has four engine possibilities. This includes two mild-hybrid engines that put out 305 horsepower and 395 horsepower, respectively. The other options are a diesel V6 and a supercharged V8.

Appearance

The 2023 Ford F-150's strength is fully displayed from bumper to bumper. This is a commanding truck with tall, broad dimensions. With a flat hood and a large, bold grille on the nose, the F-150 makes a solid first impression; this grille extends to connect to the stacked, LED-outlined headlights. The sides show off an air vent close to the front fender and premium definition across the lower doors and over the fenders. The 2023 RAM 1500 has more curvature through its hood and nose. Its grille is slightly hexagonal, and it pairs with rectangular LED headlights. Across the sides, the RAM 1500 has a horizontal chrome bar and modestly defined fenders at the rear.
