The 2.5-liter hybrid engine gives you 192 total horsepower, and the PHEV offers 210 horsepower. The 2024 Ford Edge, on the other hand, has only two powertrains. The base engine is the same 250-horsepower, turbo four-cylinder system in the Escape. The more advanced system is a 335-horsepower, turbo 2.7-liter, V6 engine.
Appearance
The Escape has an enviable look with a tall, arched cabin, a standout front-end design, and sculpted sides. At the front, the Escape boasts a modern mesh design on the wide grille and tall, set-back foglamp ports. The angled headlights have a pair of LED-outlined scoops. The 2024 Edge has a flatter roofline with a boldly angled rear. Across the sides, deep, linear accents add personality. At the front, the wide grille trends outward into points. The foglamp ports taper to a point, and the LED headlights have a wraparound LED bar.
