Ford Electric Charging

Ford Electric Vehicle Charging

Keeping your all-electric Ford battery charged is easy to do at home and on the road. Regardless of your day’s plans, charging your battery between your commutes while running errands and more will not be a hassle. Every all-electric Ford model can be charged through a 120-volt or 240-volt NEMA 14-15 power outlet.

The Ford Connected Charge Station

You can conveniently plug your Ford’s charging cord into a standard, household-style power outlet in between outings. As an alternative, the Ford Connected Charge Station is available for a faster charging experience. A licensed electrician can install the unit on an outer wall of your home or in the garage. This station offers 48 amps of charging power. The FordPass app provides several features to optimize control over your home’s charging station. For example, you can track energy usage and charging history, manage the charging speed, give charging access to your home’s guests, and more.

The Ford Mobile Charger

All Ford EVs have impressive battery ranges. Because of this, many drivers may not need to charge their battery away from home often. When the need arises, however, your Ford has two charging connectors to meet your needs. These connectors are for a 120-volt outlet and a 240-volt outlet. Finding a public charging station is easy to do through the BlueOval Charge Network. Currently, more than 19,500 charging stations are available throughout North America, and this number is growing. Your FordPass app allows you to conveniently pay for charging without using a credit or debit card. The BlueOval Charge Network provides new users complimentary access for the first two years.
