Coronavirus Update

UPDATE: 06/11/2021

With mask mandates lifted in the state of Ohio, we are now following CDC guidelines in store. We are asking that both employees and customers who have not been fully vaccinated continue to wear masks and social distance indoors at our facility. Any peoples who have been fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask or socially distance, but may choose to do so. We are also aware that everyone's comfort level is different and if you prefer that the employees you are working with wear a mask, we are happy to accommodate you, just ask. Thank you.

UPDATE: 11/16/2020

Due to the increasing Coronavirus cases in Ohio, the Governor has issued a statewide Mask Order that requires businesses to enforce a mask requirement for all customers. As of now, all customers on our premises are required to wear a facial covering that covers your mouth and nose. If you have a medical issue which prevents you from wearing a facial covering we would still love to serve you; you can contact us by phone at 1-800-686-3614 or email rodney@harrisonfordinc.net so that we can determine how best to meet your needs. Online or phone ordering, curbside/non-contact pick up and delivery is available. Thank you for your compliance in this matter!

UPDATE: 07/14/2020

On Wednesday, July 8th, Ohio Govenor, Mike Dewine, announced a new Ohio Department of Health order that mandates that face coverings be worn in public for high-risk areas, including Lorain County. Due to this, all customers entering our facility will now be required to wear face masks in an effort to protect our employees and customers. Thank you for your accomodation in this matter.

UPDATE: 06/02/2020

We are gradually getting back to normal operating hours! Hours beginning Thursday, June 4th in Sales will be a standard 9am opening with close of 7:00pm on Monday & Thursday, 6:00pm Tuesday & Wednesday, Friday until 5:30pm and Saturday untill 3:00pm. Service has resumed normal operating hours from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

UPDATE: 04/07/2020

As the state begins to reopen and attempt to return to "normal" we will be extending hours beginning Thursday, May 7th in Sales, Monday to Thursday untill 6:00pm, Friday until till 5:00pm and Saturday untill 3:00pm. We plan to continue extending our hours week by week until we can return to normal business hours. We are piloting Service hours for a few weeks from an early 7:00am to our normal closing of 5:00pm.

In compliance with the Govenor's Responsible Protocols for Getting Ohio Back to Work, we wanted to share the following processes that we will be utilizing going forward in the effort to protect the safety and health of our employees and customers.

  • Face Coverings: Employees are required to wear face coverings at all times unless working alone in an assigned work area, for documented health reasons or when wearing one would go against industry safety practices. While customers are not required to wear face coverings, we will make disposable face coverings available to customers and ask them to consider wearing one.
  • Daily Health Assessment: Employees are required to conduct daily self-assessments before coming to work to determine if they are "fit for duty." This includes checking for a fever of 100.4 degrees or higher and noting any COVID-19 related symptoms.
  • Clean and Sanitize Workplaces: Throughout the day, at the end of each shift and at the end of each day employees must clean and disinfect regularly touched objects and surfaces.
  • Limit Capacity and Practice Social Distancing: Our maximum capacity will now be set at 50% of fire code. Employees and customers must practice social distancing and maintain a 6-foot distance at all times where possible.

We appreciate your anticipated cooperation with these newly impemented procefures. Again, the safety and health of our customers and employees is our number one priority.

DATE: 03/19/2020

To our customers:

Just like you, we are closely monitoring new developments regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19). I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we are currently still open and operational during our normal business hours.  (Edit: 03/25/2020 between 9am-4pm Monday thorugh Friday and 8am-3pm Saturday.)

Every day, we are closely monitoring developments and statements from local, national and international health agencies, and we are taking actions to comply with their directives based on facts and medical science. While our dealership is always thoroughly cleaned, we have decided to raise our usual standards of cleanliness and health safety even higher in order to help protect guests and employees. The health authorities tell us that, to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, we must: wash hands frequently, heighten cleaning practices, avoid contact with sick people and stay away from work when ill. All our actions are focused in these areas.

Here’s where we are at this time:

  • We have implemented several new policies and procedures, which follow recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health.
  • We are in constant communication with our employees to reinforce our sanitization safety procedures, such as frequent hand washing, social distancing and sanitation of personal work surfaces/areas.
  • We are buying more cleaning and disinfecting supplies in order to sanitize high-traffic public areas at an increased frequency, including door handles, counter tops, desks, coffee makers, chairs and others.
  • We have placed hand sanitizers throughout the dealership for the convenience of our customers and employees.
  • All dealership personnel are required to stay home from work if they develop respiratory, fever or flu-like symptoms.
  • We are encouraging guests who are ill to seek medical attention and to avoid public exposure as much as possible. Please avoid our businesses if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and call to cancel any existing appointments. We will be happy to re-schedule for a future date!

Based on these proactive actions that have been implemented we are confident that our dealership will continue to be a safe place to conduct business and we will remain open to best serve your needs. The health and safety of our guests and employees will always be our most important consideration, especially in these challenging circumstances.

Best Regards,
